We will be featuring different local singers & songwriters to host a musical, conversation about the craft, followed by a round robin style open floor for others to share their originals as well.

Rev. Bryce O'Loughlin is a filmmaker and musician from Buckhannon. He plays for local bands SoulStrippa and Ricky Mortis and the Stiffs as well as Pittsburgh pirate-rock band The Bloody Seamen.

Originally from New Jersey, Adam has traveled up and down the east coast, gaining inspiration from the likes of the Milk Carton Kids, Elliot Smith, Bon Iver, and the Journeymen. Though he has played on and off for quite some time, his travels landed him here in Buckhannon with a newly inspired outlook and rediscovered passion for music.

Erika May – better known as EMay – has been called the “Renaissance Queen of the Pittsburgh Scene”. Awarded a Pittsburgh Creativity Project award through the STUDIO and Heinz Endowments in 2009 for her “contributions to Pittsburgh’s cultural landscape”, EMay has been called “one of the most multi -talented artists you will ever come across” (grassrootsy.com).

Born and raised outside of Boston, Erika moved back to her mother’s hometown of Pittsburgh in 2001. She is a singer/songwriter who releases demos online and is currently recording her first full-length solo album. Past projects include Turkish percussion ensemble Kirik Hava, acoustic trio Between Liberties and rock cover band The Sectionals.

Rick Miller is a Buckhannon native who has been writing, recording and performing his own music since the tender young age of eleven, accumulating eight full-length solo albums and numerous EPs.
Aside from sixteen years of solo work, Miller has also collaborated with Soul Strippa, Sick Bob & the Symptoms and Good Vittles & Co. furthering his musical experiences to the max.

Good Vittles & Co. are a high energy, ever evolving band that offers a wide variety of original music and genres ranging from old-school R&B, Soul, Funk, Folk, Modern Rock and Jazz. The Vittles also enjoy including featured guest artists regularly to their Company, all with a Bluesy Vibe and a Spirit of Fun and Jive! They came together in the spring of 2012 from many different paths to make sweet sounds in the mountains of West Virginia and Beyond!
The current lineup includes Christi Grace on ukulele and vocals, Rick Miller on bass, guitar and vocals, and Connor Bryan McCauley on keyboard, guitar and vocals.

Originally from Waco Texas, Charles Green makes his home in Clarksburg, WV, where he enjoys his lifelong love of music and making noise. He started playing in cover bands in college, but gradually moved on to writing and creating his own original material and unique style. "Just a two-bit shuck and jive," Charles continues to share his greatest joy, music.

Born in Fayette County Pennsylvania in 1975 in a greyhound bus parked in a rundown sharecroppers shack in the inner city ghetto of his own twisted imagination, Tim Hibbs (a.k.a Tim Beard) got his first harmonica when he was 13, and honed his skills on the country, blues and bluegrass that played on the old family record player at home. By 2001 he had found himself living in the hills of the Upshur/Lewis county area where he formed a blues based rock-n-roll band and began writing songs.
In 2004 he started a new project called BRASSTAXX. For the last 10 years BRASSTAXX has (not so) quietly worked the local bar scene with their own brand of back woods grunge. Recently he has settled into a more intimate role as a solo acoustic act. performing original songs that cover haunting subjects in a style that some have described as outlaw folk.

Evan is a "borned and raised" native of Buckhannon, where he started the "Friday Night Trainwreck," a weekly acoustic jam/song-circle at the old Book Store on Main Street. Later, Evan started the trans-Allegheny string band Dog & Gun, and is the guitarist, singer, and principal songwriter for the Buckhannon-based collective. Dog & Gun released their debut album last summer, which features ten original alternative country, Appalachian old time, and folk-punk songs. >> http://dogandgunwv.com
